Sunny, with a high of 68 and low of 48 degrees. Sunny during the morning, clear for the afternoon and evening,
Partisan municipalities can experience more voter turnout on average than do non-partisan municipalities, but it's not clear whether this translates to a good thing.
Let's consider why turnout is affected.
Thank you for your response Tom T.
To your points:
1. Seems we agree on this statement of fact.
2. I’m not sure what you mean about a “party boss.”
Nobody speaks for me. I’ve got a voice and use it to defend the environment and try to improve my community.
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your response. I'm not sure how far we can go here using fact-based reason and logic. This isn't a simple subject; we don't have the data, and I don't think either of us can alter our basic beliefs on the issue without the facts.
I lend my heart to Rajesh and family for the loss of their child in such a sudden, unexpected, tragic, and unexcusable way. I support them in every way I can to find the strength to continue life's journey, and I weep for the lost life of poor Ananta.
I don't understand all of what Bob is saying in this letter, but he raises issues that are important to all of us here in West Windsor.
Thanks Tom for your comments. Since our nation has evolved into a Party system it is in the voter DNA to expect at least a two Party system. Transparency as I am using it means election candidates should declare Party affiliation.
Bob, with the current WW nonpartisan system, political candidates can freely "declare their party affiliation" to the public. So what's the problem?
