Press Release: The ABCs of Electric School Buses
When: Nov 29th, 12-2PM
Where: Trenton YMCA
This educational luncheon will provide the opportunity for districts and townships in New Jersey to learn how they can take advantage of state and federal funding from the IRA and IIJA through NJ’s Electric School Bus Program and the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program. This event will provide practical information on how to apply for grants, and will conclude with a ride on an electric school bus for all participants. Grants and rebates from these life-saving programs would directly allow local communities in New Jersey to get zero-emission school buses on our streets and in our neighborhoods.
To attend, please RSVP here and be sure to indicate any dietary restrictions.

It's unfortunate the author does not discuss the fact that a flip phone can provide students with the communications described in the article as essential.
Hi Tom, thank you for your thoughts! You are absolutely correct in saying that flip phones are actually not included in New York’s new policy, and could be a good alternative for students, since they would allow for basic communications but would not have the capacity for social media access, etc.
